Diagram Maps the Cannabis & CBD Ecosystem for Media Companies, Advertising Agencies and Advertisers in the Segment
CannaVu, the largest curated collection of compliant advertising for Cannabis and CBD marketers, today presented its inaugural “CANNAscape: State of the North American Cannabis Market” architecture at the CannaStocks 2019 event, taking place at the OTC Markets Group Headquarters in New York City. CannaVu’s CANNAscape diagrams the relationship between various stakeholders in the Cannabis and CBD ecosystem, from holding companies to the brands directly connecting with the consumer. The CANNAscape identifies notable growers, producers, distribution/supply management, payment solutions, compliance, dispensaries, Cannabis hardware, delivery services, e-commerce and top brands attracting consumer attention. Over 200 companies are represented in the first edition. The CANNAscape is available for download at http://CannaVu.net/CANNAscape (Registration required).
“Preparation, execution and follow-up are critical to building advertising programs that work,” stated Miles Dennison, Chief Executive Officer at CannaVu. “Behind every company in the CANNAscape is a business need to connect with customers, whether they be business-to-business or business-to-consumer. Our CANNAscape helps identify business relationships for us and our customers, areas of commonality and a roadmap for when, where are why to advertise.”
CannaVu developed the CANNAscape as an internal strategic planning tool, but decided to make it available more broadly, to answer questions from media companies, strategic partners, investors, advertisers and their agencies about the evolving Cannabis ecosystem. CannaVu uses the information to build advertising packages and attract new premium publishers to its platform. The CANNAscape will be updated monthly, with drill-downs planned around regional and rapidly evolving specialty areas.
“The depth and breadth of players in every area of the Cannabis & CBD ecosystem is staggering,” said Paul Calento, Chief Operating Officer at CannaVu. “For our customers and partners, where and how to prioritize resources isn’t obvious. The players in every category will likely change due to consolidation, international expansion and product specialization, all themes discussed at CannaStocks 2019. The CANNAscape is likely to change significantly over time, which is why we’re committing to an update schedule.”
