MAC Cosmetics and Logo TV’s “Finding Prince Charming” winner and celebrity stylist Eric Leonardos will give former homeless individuals complete beauty makeovers as part of Alliance Beauty Day on Feb. 26 at Public Service Salon, the Alliance for Housing and Healing announced today.

The individuals, now part of the Alliance for Housing and Healing program which provides basic life necessities and social support services to those struggling with poverty, homelessness, HIV/AIDS, and other life-threatening illnesses in Los Angeles County, will be part of the inaugural day that hopes to turn annual.

“I cannot tell you how much this event means to our clients,” said Terry Goddard II, Executive Director of Alliance for Housing and Healing. “Their joy and gratitude are immeasurable. This kind of activity helps to build self-esteem and pride. When our clients look in the mirror they see themselves in a whole new and wonderful light. We are grateful to Eric, Public Service Salon and MAC Cosmetics for providing our clients with their services and instilling happiness back into their lives.”

“We already know these people are beautiful, but we want to make sure they know it,” said Leonardos who also serves as the event chair and organizer. “The look on their face as they spin around in the chair to look at themselves in the mirror for the first time is so special to me – the confidence they walk away with is priceless. My hope is that we can provide a wonderful experience that will be just a small part of the amazing work the Alliance for Housing and Healing spearheads.”
