HOTEL INDIGO® - MADISON DOWNTOWN APPOINTS JESSICA JOHNSON, GENERAL MANAGER

The Hotel Indigo^® - Madison Downtown hotel ( hotelindigomadison.com) has named Jessica Johnson, General Manager of its 144-room hotel located at 901 East Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53703, set to open in April of 2019. In her new role, Johnson will oversee all day-to-day operations.

Johnson brings over 17 years of experience in opening and managing hotels to her new role, working with brands such as Hilton, Carlson and IHG. She currently serves as the general manager at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison Central in which she will continue in that role. She joined the Great Lakes Management Group as the opening General Manager in June of 2014. She has been responsible for the overall opening success of the hotel and led the property to the Top 2% of the brand winning the 2016 IHG Torchbearer Award and in 2017 the IHG Quality Excellence Award. 

Johnson is an active member of Downtown Madison Incorporated, the Greater Madison Convention Visitors Bureau, Boys and Girls Club and United Way. She studied hospitality management at Stockton University.
