Kasse is the First Hardware Wallet with Complete Native ERC20 Support

HyundaiPay has updated the Kasse cryptocurrency hardware wallet’s companion software to include complete ERC20 token support. While other hardware wallets have gained ERC20 support through third-party applications, the Kasse HK-1000 is the first to offer full support for ERC20 tokens within its secure application’s all-in-one environment.

Kasse users may now manage 100 pre-loaded ERC-20 tokens. Additionally, users are given the flexibility to add any ERC20 token by entering the token’s contract address, name, and number of decimal places. This update expands the Kasse’s number of cryptocurrencies natively supported into the thousands.

The Ethereum ERC20 token standard rose to prominence in the summer of 2017 and quickly became the prevailing token distribution platform for initial coin offerings (ICOs). Allowing for interoperability across applications, the ERC20 standard became both a powerful crowdfunding tool and a catalyst for the emergence of a decentralized application ecosystem on the Ethereum blockchain.

The Kasse hardware wallet is a next-generation cryptocurrency hardware wallet equipped with the latest bank-grade security hardware. It features a CC EAL5+ certified secure element (STSAFE-J100) running a CC EAL5+ certified secure operating system (Java Card Closed Configuration Protection Profile, v3.0) for storing and managing blockchain wallet private keys.

In addition to ERC20 tokens, Kasse currently supports: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Dash (DASH), Litecoin (LTC), Qtum (QTUM), Ripple (XRP), Zcash (ZEC), Hyundai DAC (HDAC).
