Soltech Electric Announces 71 kW Commercial Solar Installation for San Diego Auto Body Shop

Soltech Electric has successfully guided a local, San Diego auto body shop through the Phase 1 State-Mandated Environmental Study and inspection for commercial solar installation and they passed with flying colors.

Furthermore, Soltech Electric triumphantly secured YGRENE financing, which is a PACE financing provider, for the client as well. Included in the total scope of work, Soltech Electric is proud to provide the client with a brand new layover TPO roof/E-curb waterproofing PV standoffs, all new LED lighting throughout the whole facility and office, and a PV solar system that will reduce their current SDG&E electricity bills by over 400%.

At first glance, this may seem like another PV install and a small feat, but auto body/collision, paint, and oil change shops have strict guidelines for financing due to lending to a business that may have environmental impacts on the land it occupies.
