LAS VEGAS, NV - 01/27/2018 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

A Las Vegas-based hospice business has been put up for sale as its Medicare certification is finalized.

Hospices deliver end of life care to elderly or terminally ill patients who are soon to be passing on. Often, family or friends of an elderly or terminally ill person can no longer provide the care that they need to live their final days with dignity and comfort. This is where a hospice can step in to provide support for the family or friends, and a help patient and loved ones enjoy their final days together.

Providing hospice care is a privilege, yet it is also a business. With an aging population in the United States, the hospice is becoming a very common sight around the country as more and more people need and can afford end of life care. A licensed hospice for sale is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to get involved in hospice care.

Despite its reputation as a raucous party town, Las Vegas is extremely popular with the major clients of the hospice business – senior citizens. From every 100 newcomers to Las Vegas, 30 will be senior citizens. And this influx of elderly residents will join the 17 percent of Clark County’s inhabitants – the county that encompasses Las Vegas – who are aged 60 or over. As the numbers demonstrate, Las Vegas is a prime location to purchase a licensed hospice for sale.

The hospice business is currently growing, with The Huffington Post stating that for-profit hospices have an incredible profit-margin of 15.4%. Not only does this allow the hospice owner to provide improved care for their patients, but also offers an enticing level of revenue.

The Patient Care Hospice is properly licensed according to the law, meaning the next owner will not have to go through the legal wrangling to hold a license.

The hospice’s Medicare certification is also being finalized, meaning that government funds will be allocated to residents once completed. Medicare pays a hospice around $150 a day per patient, as an incentive to provide care and to cover costs.

For business opportunities, a licensed hospice cannot be bettered.
