Story synopsis:
Originally working as a dentist for the Shah of Iran, Dr. Victor Daniels went on to establish the largest car manufacturing plants in Iran. Then the Revolution hit. A prosperous, progressive society was destroyed and a country ruined. And Victor’s life was ruined too. On the personal order of the leader of the Islamist regime, Victor’s manufacturing plants were attacked and destroyed, killing or wounding over 150 of his factory workers.
The murderous rampages spread throughout Iran. Victor’s father was imprisoned and tortured. His brother-in-law was murdered. All this was done on the orders of the tyrannical Islamist regime, which also spearheaded the formation of Hezbollah, Hamas and the Party of God in Egypt, which eventually became Al-Qaeda.
Victor decided to wage private war against the radical Islamic leadership. He used his own money. He used politics. He used manipulation. He even created his own underground railroad.
When a close friend was shot by a firing squad, it caused the friend’s young wife to go a revenge spree, killing the Mullahs and Ayatollahs who were responsible. Victor, at great risk to his own life, managed to smuggle the young woman out of Iran and on to safety in America. He did this as well for his widowed sister, her family, and his parents.
Finally escaping to the U.S., himself, Victor worked as a translator for President Reagan, providing Reagan with the key advice that secured the release of the American hostages in Teheran.
