More than 50% of Americans will live in a stepfamily at some point in their lives. Hey, Who's In My House? gives a voice to an integral part of all these changing families – the kids. Erin Mantz, Editor and Contributor of the first stepkid anthology, Hey, Who's In My House? Stepkids Speak Out - and a grown stepkid four times over herself - (Motivational Press October 2015) is available to share her's and her contributors' candid, inspiring, emotional, surprising and sometimes disturbing perspectives about how stepfamilies and blended families impact kids – straight from her recent book.

To a kid – many already reeling from his or her parents' divorce – being thrown into a living situation with another family’s children and a new stepparent rocks their lives, shakes their sense of belonging and changes simple things like buying the right snacks and reshuffling bedtime routines.

Why does it matter? 1300 stepfamilies form every day, and rarely do we hear what the kids have to say. Now, we can listen.

Interviews, publishable excerpts, and review copies available upon request. Contact Erin Mantz at 202.744.4157 or heywhosinmyhouse@aol.com.
