The Law Office of Christopher Finley Expands

The Law Office of Christopher Finley, P.L. is pleased to announce their expansion with the opening of their new location at 160 S.E. 6th Avenue, Suite B-2 in Delray Beach and the addition of three new attorneys. 

“Our new attorneys have allowed us to expand our real estate, probate, and litigation departments,” says Managing Attorney Christopher Finley.  “Our beautiful new location has given us the room to grow, to better serve our clients, as well as better parking which is not always easy in the downtown Delray area” Mr. Finley continued.

The new attorneys include:

Max Paul concentrates in the areas of real estate and probate.   During his career, Max represented landlords and tenants in New York City handling a variety of landlord/tenant matters including evictions, claims filed by tenants against landlords, and administrative proceedings.  Max has extensive experience with residential leases and buyout agreements.  His litigation experience complements his current concentrations.  Max is a licensed title agent with Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund.  Max received his bachelor’s (University of Vermont) and master’s degrees (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) in engineering.  He is also a registered professional engineer.  Max obtained his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.  He attended the evening division while working full time as an engineer. 

Erik T. Silevitch focuses his practice in the area of civil litigation.  Prior to joining The Law Office of Christopher Finley as an Of Counsel attorney, Erik was an attorney at a large firm which specialized in civil litigation as it related to real estate matters for large corporate clients across the United States. Erik quickly became a skilled litigation and trial attorney and went onto oversee both departments for the firm; earning him recognition by his peers and coworkers.  Originally from Andover, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston, Eric attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where he majored in legal studies, and was a recipient of numerous honors projects involving alternate dispute resolution.  Eric obtained his law degree at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University where he gained valuable legal experiences as an intern for the Broward County Public Defender’s office, as well as Shuster & Saben, LLC., in Plantation, Florida.

William C. Slabaugh dedicates his practice to the area of civil litigation.  Prior to joining The Law Office of Christopher Finley as an Of Counsel attorney in 2017, William was an attorney at a real estate law firm in Boca Raton since 2012, where he developed a vast knowledge of real estate and gained civil litigation experience. Within two years, he was named the managing attorney of the firm, which consisted of 24 attorneys and over 200 paralegals and support staff.  He began his career in the area of criminal law with The Baez Law Firm of Kissimmee, Florida as counsel for numerous felony and misdemeanor cases throughout Central Florida.  After graduating from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Finance in 2006, William graduated Florida A&M University, College of Law in 2010 and was admitted to The Florida Bar that same year.
